1 c shortening 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter 2 1/2 c firmly packed light brown sugar 6 T. milk 2 T vanilla 2 eggs 3 1/2 c flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Cream first 3 ingredients. Then add milk, vanilla, and eggs. Combine dry ingredients and then add to creamed mixture at low speed until well blended. Roll into balls the size of walnuts and pat out with fork. Bake at 375º for 8 minutes until set or beginning to brown.
