1 -2 large heads of cabbage
salt & pepper to taste
1-2 pounds ground beef (sometimes I use 1 lb lean beef, 1 lb. ground turkey)
1/3 cup chopped onion or onion flakes
1/3 cup of uncooked dry oatmeal per 1 lb of meat
2-3 medium eggs
½ cup uncooked rice
1 ½ -2 cups water
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
water as needed

1.Clean and pull the usable layers of cabbage off the head. Place onto paper towel.
2. Cover cabbage with another paper towel and place in microwave on high for
30-60 minutes to soften. Set aside. • In a large bowl mix beef, onion, eggs, oats, seasoning, rice.
3. Place meat into softened cabbage rolls. Roll, tuck in ends. Secure with tooth picks or strings (whichever you have) and place into the bottom of crock pot. Pour tomato soup and water over peppers. Put crock pot on low and prepare extra rice for dinner.
