3 cups sugar
5 cups flour
5 tsp baking soda
1 15oz box raisin bran
2 tsp salt
4 beaten eggs
1 quart buttermilk
1 cup oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients except for raisin bran. Add wet ingredients. Mix well. Stir in raisin bran. Batter should be thick. Fill greased cupcake pans (or use cupcake papers) 3/4 full. Bake at 400 12-15 minutes. Do not over bake as will dry out.

Batter lasts in the refrigerator up to 6 weeks.

Can also add 1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1 cup raisins, 5 oz coconut to batter. These make a great grab-and-run breakfast food.
