1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in the order given. Pour in greased 8x8 baking dish. Bake in 400 oven for 25 minutes.
