3 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 small onions chopped
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup half and half
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 to 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter in medium skillet, add onions and saute until golden.
2. Meanwhile, in a greased 1-1/2 qt. casserole, mix eggs, bread crumbs, milk, half and half, salt and pepper until liquid is absorbed. Blend in onions and mushrooms
3. Bake at 350 for 60- 70 minutes or until golden and set.
