Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs. steak, cut into small pieces (flank or flat iron)
2 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion, chopped
2 jalapeños, seeds and veins removed and chopped (depending on desired level of spice)
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
8 oz. beer (fill tomato sauce can)
4+ tbsp. chili powder (to taste)
2+ tsp. cumin powder (to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cans kidney beans

Directions:
Directions:
Freeze steak to make it easy to cut into small pieces. Brown steak pieces and hamburger, drain off fat and set meat aside. In chili pot, sauté chopped onions, jalapeños, and garlic in olive oil. Sauté over medium heat until onions are soft, about 10 minutes, stirring often. Add browned meat back to the pot, add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beer, chili powder, cumin, and salt and pepper. Cover and simmer at least 1 hour. Add kidney beans and heat through - about 10 minutes.
