2 c. quick-cooking oats
1-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. dry roasted peanuts
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. melted butter or margarine, melted
1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. peanut butter
6 - 1 3/16 oz. milk chocolate covered English toffee candy bars cut into small pieces or 1 1/4 c. almond brickle chips

Directions:

Combine oats, flour, peanuts, sugar, baking soda salt; stir in butter until crumbly. Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture; press remaining mixture on bottom of greased 15 x 10 in. jelly roll pan. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes. In a small mixing bowl, beat condensed milk and peanut butter until smooth. Spread over prepared crust to within 1/4 in. of edge. Combine reserved crumb mixture and chopped candy bars. Spread over peanut butter mixture. Press down firmly. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
