1 1/2 to 2 lb. Ground Chuck 1 Medium Large Yellow Onion 1 Jar Tomato Basil Spaghetti Sauce - Neuman's 1 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes 1 15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce Garlic Cloves - Chopped To Taste Pinch Sugar Pony (Shot Glass) Red Wine - Not Sweet Basil or Italian Seasoning - To Taste Salt - To Taste
Brown beef and drain off grease. Add chopped onion, garlic, spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, red wine and spices and simmer for one (1) hour. Taste for seasoning.
Simmer for an additional two (2) hours and taste again for seasonings.
Serve over your favorite pasta.
After trying countless bottled and home made spaghetti sauces this is still my favorite.
