1 pound hot or sweet Italian Sausages, casings on, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice (from 1-2 limes)
1 tbsp. seasoned rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 red serrano chili, thinly sliced
1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 cup torn Thai basil leaves
1/2 head romaine lettuce heart, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
In a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat, place the sauages and brown on all sides stirring 5-8 minutes, until cooked through. Set aside and keep warm.

In a large bowl, whisk together the lime juice, soy sauce and sugar. Toss the sausages with the dressing, onion, chili, cilantro, and basil. Arrange the lettuce on a platter and top with the sausage mixture.
