2# cubed stew beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 large can diced tomatoes
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

3 carrots, peeled and diced into small pieces
3 large potatoes, peeled and diced into 1" cubes
2 stalks celery, sliced

2 c frozen corn
1 bag frozen green beans

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in large stock pot with onions, garlic. Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, cabbage and 1/2 gallon (give or take) of water. Bring to boil, then drop to simmer for 1-2 hours, or beef is tender and flavor has developed.

Add carrots, potatoes and celery and cook an additional 15 minutes, or till veggies are tender.

Add corn and green beans; heat through and serve.
