3 c. water 1-1/4 c. sugar 1-1/4 tsp. lemon zest 3/4 c. lemon juice
In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar and lemon zest. Bring to a boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Pour mixture into canister of ice cream maker. Stir in lemon juice. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
