6 slices bacon
1 head of red cabbage
1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
Water

Directions:
Directions:
In large pan fry 6 slices of diced bacon.( DO NOT DRAIN the FAT) Shred 1 head of cabbage- put in the pan and cover with water. Boil uncovered 25 to 30 minutes (until tender.)

If a lot of water remains pour some off.
Add vinegar and sugar. Cook at least 20-30 minutes more.
