"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Small cake yeast dissolved in 2 T warm water
c butter
1 T sugar
3 eggs
c sour cream or canned milk
3 c flour
1 egg for glaze

1 lb ground nuts
1 c sugar
4 egg whites, beaten

To make filling, combine all filling ingredients. Thin with small amount of milk if necessary.

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Add sour cream and yeast. Add flour, mix well, turn out on a well-floured board and knead. This will require a fair amount of flour as this is a soft dough. After kneading, divide into four portions. Roll each piece like a piece of pie dough. Spread with filling. Roll up, place on greased sheet. Brush with beaten egg. Raise 1 hour, bake at 350 for 30 min.
