1 c margarine
1 c water
4 T cocoa
2 c flour
2 c sugar
½ t salt
½ c sour cream
1 t baking soda
2 eggs
coconut
chocolate chips

Frosting

¼ c margarine
6 T milk
4 T cocoa
1 t vanilla
1 t chopped nuts
1 lb confectioner’s sugar
 

Directions:
Directions:
To make cake, combine margarine, water and cocoa in a 2 qt saucepan. Heat to boil, stir. Remove from heat, add flour, sugar and salt. Beat with mixer till well mixed, add sour cream, soda and eggs. Add coconut and/or chocolate chips if desired. Mix till blended. Pour into greased 15x11 pan. Bake at 375° for 30 min.

For frosting, Combine first three ingredients in saucepan. Heat to boil until bubbling. Remove from heat and beat in remaining ingredients. Spread on hot cake.
