Out in a skillet:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 can crushed pineapple

Cake Batter
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 1/4 cup flour
1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake batter all together and pour into skillet with heated pineapple mixture. Do not stir. Cook about 30 minutes at 350 degrees until cake is done. Turn out on a plate upside down.
