1 1/2 cups shortening
3 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup buttermilk (I use milk with vinegar)

Directions:
Directions:
Flour to knead until dough will not stick to hands. Roll very thin; cut in desired shapes and bake in a 375 degrees oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Decorate as desired.
