1 pounds ground beef
1 cup medium cracker crumbs
2 beaten eggs
1 8-ounce can (1 cup) seasoned tomato sauce
cup finely chopped green onion or regular onion
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 medium bay leaf, crushed
Dash marjoram
Chili sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except chili sauce. Mix well. Shape mixture in a loaf in shallow baking dish. Score the loaf by pressing top with handle of wooden spoon. Fill the score marks with chili sauce.

Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 1 hour.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
