cup chopped walnuts
3 to 5 oz. cheddar cheese
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. chopped pimento

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Spread walnuts in pan and toast for 10 minutes.
Blend cheeses and stir in garlic, salt, pimento and green pepper.

Shape into ball and roll in the toasted walnuts.
Chill until serving time.

This has been a favorite of family and friends for years. It tastes best when prepared a day before an event, as it gives the flavors some time to blend. Serve with any type of crackers.
