2 t. BAKING SODA
1t. CINNAMON
1/2 t. SALT
3/4 CUP SHORTENING
1 CUP SUGAR
1 EGG
1/4 MOLASSES
GRANULATED SUGAR

Directions:
Directions:
MEASURE FLOUR,GINGER, BAKING SODA, CINNAMON, AND SALT INTO SIFTER.
CREAM SHORTENING UNTIL SOFT IN MEDIUM SIZE BOWL: GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR, CREAMING AFTER EACH ADDITION UNTIL MIXTURE IS FLUFFY. BEAT IN EGG AND MOLASSES. SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS OVER CREAMED MIXTURE; BLEND WELL. MAKE
BALLS, ROLL IN SUGAR BAKE AT 350 FOR 12-15 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOPS ARE SLIGHTLY CRACKLY, AND LIGHTLY BROWNED.
