3 EGGS WELL BEATEN
1/2 MOLASSES
1t. SODA DISSOLVED IN LITTLE COLD WATER
1 CUP RAISINS GROUND
ETHELYN ADDS CHERRIES GROUND AND WHATEVER
1t. CINNAMON, GINGER, CLOVES,& ALLSPICE
FLOUR TO ROLL

MIX TOGETHER SUGAR, BUTTER, MOLASSES,
EGGS, AND SPICES. DISOLVE SODA IN VINEGAR ; STIR INTO FIRST MIXTURE. MIX IN SIFTED FLOUR; ROLL OUT DOUGH, DOUGH SHOULD BE SOFT. CUT WITH LARGE COOKIE CUTTER. BAKE 350º 15-20 MINUTES.
