Mix well and make hole in center:
3 1/2 c plain flour 3 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp soda

Add:
1 c cooking oil 2/3 c water
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin 4 eggs

Stir this well.

Add:
1 c white or golden raisins
1c chopped pecans

Directions:

Mix well. Turn into 3 8-inch greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Check to see if done at 55 minutes. When done, turn out onto wire racks to cool. Can freeze in heavy foil. Serve with softened Cream Cheese.
