1/2 c butter (1 stick), softened
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted or 4 packets of Nestle Choco Bake (4 oz)
1 1/4 c flour
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 c chopped nuts &/or shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugars, and egg in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in chocolate. combine flour, baking opwder and baking soda; beat into sugar mixture. Stir in nuts.

Drop by rounded Tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake in preheated 350* oven for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft. Let stand for 3 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
