1 lb. cracked wheat
1 lb. ground lean beef
1 lb. ground lamb
2 onions chopped
5 strips of bacon, cut in small pieces
1 c. sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Soak wheat about 30 minutes, mix with meat and 1 chopped onion, salt and pepper to taste. Saute bacon that has been cut in small pieces. Add chopped onion, bacon and almonds, saute until almonds get light brown . Put 1/2 mixture into oblong cake pan, cover meat with bacon mixture, add remainder of meat mix, cut diagonal slices, dot butter on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes.
