Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe became a family tradition back when we had Safeway's in Marshall. The macaroni and pickles were easy to find then, but now I have to look for just the right products. Any small cut of macaroni will work and you have to really look for the pickles. When the kids travel they are always on the look out for just the right macaroni like we used to find at Safeway and I keep packages in my freezer. Every year for Steven's birthday, instead of making him a cake, I make him Macaroni Salad.
