2 eggs
2/3 cup margerine, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans (chop fine but do not make them into powder)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven 375
Beat eggs slightly, in large mixer bowl. Add rest of ingredients, blend on low speed about 30 seconds. Mix on medium speed until all is well blended and gathered together. About 3 minutes. Add pecans so as not to crush them. Form into 4 rolls about 7 inches long. If dough seems to not want to hold together then add 1 tablespoon cream and see if it holds together and if still seems crumbly then add 1 more tablespoon cream. Wrap cookie rolls tightly in wax paper and chill rolls for 2 hours. Slice 1/8th inch thick and bake for 10 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Cathy Rather sent in this recipe for Margie and mentioned that Margie would have a party every year on a weekend near Christmas. Cathy said she slightly remembers one when she and Ron were first dating, but typical of kids that age they had something else to "do". The usual crew of Mary Elizabeth, Flossie (Sissy), Jeannie etc were typically in the pictures. Cathy reported Margie had continued to make this cookie as part of her Christmas tradition long after she quit having the annual tea party,
