1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp water
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter. Blend butter and sugars until creamy. Add baking soda, salt, and vanilla, mix. Add eggs, one at a time, mix. Add mixture of flour, soda and salt, just until blended. (Note: once the flour is added you want to mix as little as possible. The more you mix the stiffer the cookie). Add oatmeal and chocolate chips. Bake at 350. Let cool on wire rack. Store in air tight container or freeze. Batter can be stored in the refrigerator up to 1 week before baking.
