6-7 apples, MacIntosh are the best
2/3 cup sugar
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Fresh lemon juice
Butter
Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and a few squirts of fresh lemon juice in a bowl. Put pie crust (home made or store bought) into a pie pan. Fill with apple mixture. Dot apples with butter and a dash of salt. Cover with pie crust top. Cover pie with aluminum foil.

Bake at 400. Take off aluminum foil after about 35 minutes and place back in oven. About 15 minutes before done, brush crust with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Continue baking until done. Total baking time about 1 hour.
