2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Karo
1/2 cup water
pinch salt
1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Whip egg white. Put aside. Cook sugar, Karo, water and salt until threads form-kinda hard ball stage. Pour half over egg whites and put rest back on fire for one minute. Pour over and whip.

Very hard recipe that was introduced to me by Rowena and she insisted the whipping be done by a fork. I don't know if I have ever successfully completed this candy.
