1/2 cup sugar
1 yellow butter cake mix
3/4 cup buttery oil
4 eggs
small sour cream
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon butter flavoring

Filling
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cake mix and oil. Add beaten eggs, water, sour cream. Beat 2 minutes. Pour 1/2 of batter into tube pan and sprinkle 2/3 of filling. Add remaining batter and then top with remaining filling. Bake at 325 for one hour.

The buttery oil is hard to find so I have resorted to just vegetable oil, and then adding an additional tablespoon of butter flavoring. Mrs. Hardy always made this cake better than anyone, but we all have the recipe and try to match her skills.
