1/3 cup shortening
2 large onions, chopped fine
1 lb hamburger
4 tbsp flour
3 cup milk

cook hamburger and onions until brown, drain well. add flour, cook until brown, add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens, put hamburger mixture in baking dish and top with biscuits

Biscuit Dough
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup rich sour cream
roll out 1 inch thick and cut with medium sized cutter. put biscuits on top of hamburger gravy and
Bake @ 450 until biscuits are brown,
serve at once
