1 tall can crushed pineapple
3/4 cup sugar
3 level tablespoons flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons margarine (when done)

Directions:

Mix all together and cook until thickened, add margarine and spread between layers and on top.

This recipe was in the Finley cookbook twice. On one copy it was noted as Martha Finley's recipe. The other recipe had only one tablespoon of margarine and said to use the juice in the canned pineapple. Also, the second recipe suggested that the cake be yellow box cake. Surely, any and all these differences will not make a big change in a great sounding cake.
