2 sticks butter 2 sticks Imperial margarine 1 c powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 egg 4 c flour 1 1/2 c ground nuts (pecans preferred)
Cream butter and margarine together, add powdered sugar, then vanilla, add 2 cups flour, then egg, then the other 2cups of flour, then the nuts. Refrigerate a few hours. Form into crescents then bake at 350º. Don't get brown. About 8 minutes or so. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
