1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup corn meal
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small onion
1 egg (well beaten)
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Shift the dry ingredients together. Then add the onion, egg, and milk. Stir all ingredients. Then slap it one teaspoon at a time into some hot deep fat.
