1 gallon figs
8 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 lemon sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Wash figs in soda water to get fur off. Mix 2 pounds of figs to 1 pound of water. Wet sugar to keep from sticking. Put on and let cook until syrup thickens and figs get light.
