1/2 lb butter 1/2 lb old eng cheese 2 1/2 c sifted flour 1 tsp red pepper 1 cup chopped nuts 1 tsp salt
Work into four rolls and chill----slice thin and bake about 8 min. 325*
This is a really old recipe from one of my Antique friends, Ardie Elwood. She said this is to much red pepper and they used to have them WITHOUT the red pepper. So if you don't like it hot, I suggest you leave out the pepper or just use half of it.
