MEMORIES FROM MIKE AND DONNA: It was always tradition for my Mom, Ruby, to make the ambrosia salad. We always requested it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. All of us couldn't wait for Mom to bring out her china pieces that she painted over the years. We got to eat our dinner on her special plates. There was usually a fight over who got what plate. Each person had their favorite!!
