1 lb ground beef
8 cups water
1 pkg beef bouillon
14oz can tomatoes
1 cup eachcelery, carrots and onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup barley
1/4 cup parsley
salt and pepper, garlic, paprika to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef. Add 8 cups water to pot and boil, then simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Dissolve bouillon in 1/2 cup water, Add vegetables and bouillon to beef mixture. Add spices and barley and cook until barley is cooked. Works great in a crockpot.
