Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts Recipe

2 lb. bacon
2 (8 oz) cans water chestnuts
2/3 cup packed breown sugar
2/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup chili sause

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Cut each strip of bacon in half. Wrap one strip around water chestnut. Secure with a wooden toothpick. Place in a shallow baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes.

While the wraps are baking in a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, mayonnaise and chilli sauce to make barbecue sauce.

After the wraps have finished baking transfer them to a second shallow baking dish (not the grease). Pour the sauce over the wraps.

Bake at 350 for 10-15 additional minutes.
