1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Cook above ingredients for about 5 minutes until boiling. Turn off stove and add 1 t. vanilla, 1 t. baking soda, it will bubble.

Pop 6 quarts popcorn. Split into 2 large bowls to mix, add about 1/2 to 1 c. slivered almonds, mix together. On two cookie sheets cook for 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir 2 times while baking.
