3 lb. boneless chuck roast
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz. bottle Catalina French dressing
1/2 c. water
3 medium onions
6 medium carrots, sliced
4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Season meat with salt and pepper. Brown in 1/4 c. dressing in Dutch oven over medium heat. Add remaining dressing and water. Add onions, carrots, and potatoes. Cover. Bake at 350 for 2 1/2 hours. Remove meat and vegetables. Slowly add flour to water. Slowly add flour mixture to hot liquid in pan. Cook. Stir constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Slice meat. Arrange vegetables around meat. Pour gravy over all.
