Pastry for 1 crust 9 inch pie
36 Kraft Caramels
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. salt
1 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Place pastry in a 9 inch pie plate. Melt caramels and margarine with water in heavy sauce pan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Gradually add to combined sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well. Stir in pecans; pour into pastry shell. Bake 45- 50 minute at 350 degrees. Cool
(filling appears soft, but will firm as it cools).
