2 c. brown sugar,
2 c. granulated sugar,
3/4 c. butter, softened,
1 c. vegetable shortening,
4 eggs,
2 tsp. vanilla, 3 c. all-purpose flour,
2 tsp. salt,
2 tsp. baking soda,
3 c. quick oatmeal,
2 c. coconut,
2 c. raisins, 1 c. chocolate chips,
1 c. chopped nuts.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, butter & shortening. Beat in the eggs & vanilla. Combine flour, salt & soda and beat into the first mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Drop be spoonful 2" apart on greased baking sheet. Bate at 350 for about 8 minutes or until brown. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 1 minute.
