cinnamon-sugar mixture
1 c butter
2 c sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 3/4 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in milk and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture.

Form dough into 1-inch balls, and then roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat. Place balls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375
