1 Pork Loin
1 full onion
4 green chilies
1 Jalapeņo Pepper
2 cloves of garlic
2 cans of diced green chilies
2 cup of Sherry Cooking Wine or bottled wine
1/4 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of chicken fajita salt
2 tablespoons of butter
1 packet of brown gravy
1 can of stewed tomatoes
2 tbsp. of minced garlic
add salt, pepper, garlic salt

Put Pork loin in crock pot and cook all day (4-5 hours), and put Sherry, canned green chilies, minced garlic, salt, pepper, fajita salt in the crock pot as well. Then in about 3 hours saute' green chilies, onion, Jalapeņo, garlic, with butter and chili powder in pan, then add to crock pot after you shred the pork. Then when almost finished follow the directions of the gravy packet and add to the crock pot with the can of stewed tomatoes. If I want my chili verde' thicker I add a tbsp of corn starch to my crock pot or I just add the packet for brown gravy to my crock pot without adding any more water. If I don't want it to be to spicy I don't add the Jalapeņo peppers or the seeds from the green chili peppers. Then it is ready to serve with tortillas.
