Filling:
3 cans cherries & water (not pie filling), sliced peaches are good too.
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)

Cobbler:
1c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain fruit and keep 1 c. of juice. In a saucepan combine juice, 2 c. of sugar, 1/2 c. flour & 2 T. butter. Boil. Stir in cherries or peaches. Add 1/2 tsp. almond extract.

Grease baking dish & pour mixture in.

In the same saucepan, melt 1 c. butter. Take off heat and combine with 1/2 c. sugar & 2 c. flour, add 1/2 tsp. almond extract. Crumble on top of filling mixture.

Bake at 400 for 40 minutes. Yum!!
