2 pounds ground beef
2 medium chopped onions
1 clove garlic, crushed
14 ounce spaghetti sauce
1 pounds canned diced tomatoes
3 ounce can mushrooms
8 ounce shell macaroni
1 1/2 pint sour cream
1/2 pound provolone cheese, sliced
1/2 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced very thin

Directions:
Directions:
Cook meat in a deep pan until brown; drain. Add onion, garlic, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and undrained mushrooms. Mix well; simmer 20 minutes. Cook macaroni; rinse with cold water. Layer in baking dish 1/2 noodles, 1/2 meat mixture, 1/2 sour cream, 1/2 provolone; and repeat. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, covered. Remove from oven, top with mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered, 5-10 minutes.

I am always able to make two dishes out of this one recipe due to what size casserole dishes I use. We eat one and freeze the other. Then when I don't have the time to cook, I pull it out and bake it and presto a wonderful meal with bread and salad.
