4 pound corned beef brisket
1/3 cup dried onion soup mix
4 peppercorns
1 clove garlic minced
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp rosemary
3 cups water
6 medium potatoes, quartered
6 carrots cut into 1-1/2" pieces
1/2 cup celery cut into 1" pieces
1 medium cabbage cut into wedges

Directions:
Directions:
Put in all ingredients, except vegetables into a deep quart saucepan. Cover, boil then simmer for 3-1/2 hours. Add vegetables. Cover and cook for another hour.
