2 - 3 lbs Chicken Wings (tips removed)
1/3 Cup Water
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
2 T Sugar
1 T Dry Sherry
2 Slices Ginger Root or 1 tsp ground ginger
4 Cloves Star Anise

Directions:
Directions:
Separate chicken wings.

Place everything in a 3 to 4 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and sinner 20 minutes.

Stir occasionally to make sure all wings cook in liquid for an equal time.

After 20 min increase heat slightly and uncover pot. Continue cooking 15 minutes more.

Liquid turns to a brown glaze coating.

Toss and stir while cooking to coat equally.

Can serve hot or cold.
