1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup milk plus 1 tbsp
1 1/2 cup apples (chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg and add milk. Pour into dry ingredients, stir until the batter is smooth. Pare apples and dice or slice thin. Add apples to batter and blend together. Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat in skillet, fry until a golden brown on all sides.
