1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. grated raw zucchini
2 c. sifted flour
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. cloves
1/4 t. salt
1 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Beat in egg. Add zucchini. Sift dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by tablespoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 min. until lightly browned.
